     Are you a hands-on writer/reporter who has a passion for telling the important stories of your community? The award-winning weekly Putnam County Sentinel, (www.putnamsentinel.com), which also publishes the Ada Herald and Columbus Grove Vidette, is looking for you! The Sentinel has an immediate opening for a creative part-time correspondent with high ethical standards to cover the Ada Herald market. Responsibilities include: 

    Research and write articles for the Ada Herald. Coverage includes, but not limited to local meetings, features, sports, school events and police news. Some night and weekend work is required – as the news dictates 
    Must possess strong writing, editing, photography and social media skills
    Take digital photographs and videos at community meetings, festivals and other happenings in the area. In addition to the Ada Herald, imagery may be included in other DHI Media publications in the Northwest Ohio group. 
    Proof articles before submission and be an excellent speller
