ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

SEALED BIDS for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the

CENTER STREET RESURFACING

VILLAGE OF LEIPSIC, OHIO

will be received by the Village of Leipsic, Ohio, until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021, and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers.

The project consists of pavement milling, full depth pavement repair and asphalt overlay of Center Street from Belmore Street to 11th Street, and necessary appurtenances. The estimated cost of construction is 175,000.00. The Owner intends for this project to be completed no later than November 1, 2021.

The contract documents, including plans and specifications, are on file at the office of the Owner and the Engineer for the project - - Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc., (PDG), 101 Clinton Street, Suite 1300, Defiance, OH 43512. The documents may be viewed and ordered online or obtained from Becker Impressions, 4646 Angola Road, Toledo, Ohio 43615, Telephone (419) 385-5303, www.pdgplanroom.com for the cost of printing to be paid to the printing company at the time the documents are picked up. Shipping and tax charges are the bidder’s responsibility and payable directly to Becker Impressions. Bidders must be on the official bidders list of PDG’s Planroom in order to submit a bid.

All bids must be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in this booklet. Bids must state the unit prices in the blanks provided and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked - - - Bid for Center Street Resurfacing - Village Of Leipsic, Ohio - - - and addressed to the Village of Leipsic, 142 E. Main Street, Leipsic, OH 45856.

The bid guaranty may be of two forms:

1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.)

2. A certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit in favor of the Village, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is 100% payment and performance bond.

The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio.

Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond or check, will neither be read nor considered.

The Village of Leipsic reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.

FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF SNOW REMOVAL EQUIPMENT (TRUCK AND PLOW) AT THE PUTNAM COUNTY AIRPORT OTTAWA, OHIO

Sealed proposals for the procurement of Snow Removal Equipment (Pick-Up Truck and Plow Blade) Contract will be received by the Putnam County Airport, at the Putnam County Courthouse at 245 East Main Street, Ottawa. OH 45875 until 10:30am, local time, April 29, 2021, and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud.

Procurement of a new 2020, or newer, all-wheel drive, ¾ ton pick-up with heavy duty suspension with 9’ snowplow blade with adjustable 1’ foot plow wings.
