1.Sealed bids for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the

CEDAR STREET IMPROVEMENTS (OPWC Round 36)

VILLAGE OF DUPONT, OHIO

will be received by the Village of Dupont at Bockrath & Associates Engineering and Surveying, LLC, 115 South Fair Avenue, Suite A, Ottawa, Ohio 45875 until:

10:00 a.m. Local Time

Thursday, June 9th, 2022

and at that time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

2. The proposed work consists of approximately 150 CY of Asphalt Concrete, 100 SY of Pavement Planning, 300 SY of Partial Depth Pavement Repairs and 30 CY of Aggregate Shoulder.

3. Engineer’s Base Bid Cost Estimate is $60,000.00.

4. Requests for bid packages shall be directed to Bockrath & Associates Engineering and Surveying, LLC, 115 South Fair Avenue, Suite A, Ottawa, Ohio 45875, Phone: 419-523-5789. A hard copy of the Bid Documents and Plan Set may be purchased at a cost of $25.00 (non-refundable) and/or PDFs of the Bid Documents and Plan Set are available electronically at www.bockrath-es.com at no cost.

5. Bids must be submitted on the unbound Bid Forms furnished with the Bidding Documents and must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code or a Bid Security furnished in Bond Form, issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.

6. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bids shall be sealed and marked as – Bid for the CEDAR STREET IMPROVEMENTS – VILLAGE OF DUPONT, OHIO and hand delivered or mailed to:

7. This project is funded by an OPWC Infrastructure Grant Program. Attention must be given to all the requirements contained in the bid packet, prevailing wage rates, various insurance requirements and the requirement for a payment and performance bond for 100% of the contract price.

8. Bids will only be accepted from the Bidders listed on the Engineer’s Official plan holders list.

9. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Putnam County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employments Services, Wage and Hour Division.

10. The Village of Dupont reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
