All last week students from throughout the county celebrated Catholic Schools Week. They took part in a variety of activities throughout the week, one of which brought them all together. Last Wednesday, students from St. Anthony of Padua School in Columbus Grove joined with students from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Leipsic for an all-schools Mass. There were close to 500 students at the Mass (with a group photo pictured). Afterwards, the students enjoyed lunch and bingo together as well. "It was a beautiful day of fun and fellowship," commented St. Mary's Principal Michelle Knippen. Catholic Schools Week is celebrated each year in the last week of January. (photo submitted)
