PUTNAM COUNTY — It’s that time of year again. The time when the leaves change colors, the temperature drops, and spooks, goblins and assorted characters suddenly begin appearing on our streets, delightfully shrieking greetings of, “Trick or treat!”

Area villages have again set official times for parades, trick or treat events, and even costume judging. Check with your town to see what is happening. Then, grab some candy and prepare yourself for community fun as adorable little-ones (and a few frightening ones too) take to the streets in search of sugar-filled treats.
