Alexander L. Pardo, 25, Leipsic, was remanded to the WORTH Center on a charge of possession of drugs (methamphetamines). He was placed on five years community control, must obtain and maintain employment and complete all treatment and counseling recommended. Charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed.

Dec. 21

David J. Roeger, 58, Ottawa, was sentenced to 90 days jail for attempted abduction. He was placed on five years community control, was given credit for one day served and was referred to an appropriate treatment program. He must obtain and maintain employment, complete all treatment and counseling recommended and have no contact with the victim. A charge of gross sexual imposition was dismissed.

Chad M. German, 41, Delphos, was sentenced to 90 days jail for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included using opiates and other drugs and possessing drug paraphernalia. He must obtain and maintain employment and pay restitution of $1,127.24 to Vorst Paving, Ottoville. German was given permission to attend a job interview in Ottoville on Dec. 26. He was originally convicted of theft and breaking and entering.

Dec. 24

Michael Morman was appointed to the Putnam County Veterans Service Commission to a term beginning Jan. 1, 2019 through Dec. 31, 2023.

Dec. 26

Alexander F. Diehl, Columbus Grove, and Jina Diehl, Mount Cory, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Sept. 29, 2013 and have no children.

Dec. 28

Julie A. Deitering, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Kenneth J. Deitering, Leipsic. They were married April 29, 1989 and have four children.
