Edward O. Spring, Fort Jennings, was ordered to remove all noxious weeds, debris and refuse located on property at 23138 Road Q in Jackson Township, which has been found to be detrimental to the health and safety to Jackson Township residents. Spring had failed to abide by the agreement reached with Jackson Township Trustees on Sept. 12, 2018. The judge ordered Spring to remove all debris, noxious weeds or other nuisance conditions from the property and if he fails to do so, the township was ordered to remove and abate the nuisance conditions at Spring’s costs or placed on his tax duplicate.

Jan. 23

Richard S. Schneider, 32, Fort Jennings, pleaded guilty to theft of checks. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 27 at 10:30 a.m. Two counts forgery were dismissed.

Todd F. Oler, 34, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to non-support. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was set for Feb. 27 at 9 a.m.

Daniel J. Stauffer, 23, Ottawa, was granted a reduction of nine days in his jail sentence and was ordered to be released Feb. 15. He has been jailed on a probation violation.

Tanya J. Schubert, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from James P. Schubert, Lakewood, Wash. They were married Aug. 10, 2011 in Butler, Pa., and have one child.

Jeffery E. Kern, Continental, and Dawn E. Kern, Pandora, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Jan. 10, 1998 in Bryan and have one minor child.
