Michael L. Young, 42, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to OVI, sentenced to 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, fined $750, $250 suspended, three-year license suspension, six points, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP and complete alcohol and drug assessment.

Michael A. McLaughlin, 48, Continental, pleaded no contest to non-compliance, sentenced to 30 days jail, fined $150. He was fined $50 for left turn violation.

Criminal/Aug. 5

Natalia E. Sanchez, 27, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals, sentenced to 90 days jail, suspended, fined $150, forfeit all dogs to county dog warden, not permitted to acquire pets in two years. Two other counts were dismissed.

Duece W. Alt, 18, Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to illegal distribution of cigarettes and was fined $150.

Traffic/Aug. 5

Ryan S. Powell, 35, Bluffton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation, sentenced to 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, fined $250, two-year license suspension, four points, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP and complete drug and alcohol assessment. A charge of two-lights required was dismissed.

Quinton M. Bruce, 19, Deshler, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of third offense driving under suspension, sentenced to 30 days jail, 20 days suspended, fined $250. He also pleaded guilty to marijuana possession and was fined $150 and given a six-month license suspension. A charge of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.

Nicholas M. Keck, 26, Continental, pleaded guilty to OVI, sentenced to 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, fined $750, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, six points, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of two-lights required was dismissed.

Jamie S. Allen, Vaughnsville, to pay judgment of $3,711.14, plus interest and costs to Lima Memorial Health System.

Civil/Aug. 6

Susan M. Sager, Kalida, and Jeff Sager, Kalida, to pay judgment of $299, plus interest and costs to Lima Radiological Associates, Inc., Toledo.

Benjamin L. Smith, Fort Jennings, to pay judgment of $1,135.26, plus interest and costs to Orthopaedic Institute of Ohio.

Patrick G. Finn, Fort Jennings, and Tonya R. Finn, Fort Jennings, to pay judgment of $980.68, plus interest and costs to Promedica, Toledo.

Rebecca S. Dudgeon, 51, Findlay, pleaded guilty to OVI, sentenced to 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, fined $750, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

Criminal/Aug. 7

Clay M. Evans, 24, Defiance, pleaded guilty to drug abuse possession and was fined $150 and given a six-month license suspension. He was also fined $150 for no operator’s license.

Kelsey Cole, 26, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to gasoline theft, sentenced to 180 days jail, 170 days suspended, fined $150, complete mental health assessment and pay restitution of $41.75.

Civil/Aug. 7

Kimberly S. Gerdeman, Pandora, to pay judgment of $325.12, plus interest and costs to Lammers Chiropractic Care, Glandorf.

Criminal/Aug. 8

Mark E. Christian, 35, Continental, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest, sentenced to 90 days jail, 60 days suspended, to be served concurrent to common pleas case, and fined $100.

Katie L. Unverferth, 30, Kalida, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of reckless operation and was fined $150. Charges of speeding and distracted driving were dismissed.

Joshua J. Fields, 18, Ottawa, pleaded no contest to OVI, sentenced to 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, fined $750, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, six points, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP and complete alcohol and drug assessment.
