PUTNAM COUNTY — Late Tuesday afternoon, the Putnam County Board of Elections met and approved ballots for the upcoming general election.

While no little attention is focused on the presidential race, there are a number of contested candidate races and issues having a specific impact on Putnam County voters. The following is a list of candidate races — both contested and uncontested — as well as the issues facing voters in specific village, township, and school districts.
