PUTNAM COUNTY - The Putnam County Engineer is providing notice to the public regarding the following project:

Rehabilitation of the existing bridge over Cranberry Creek on Road M (PID: 117361).

The Putnam County Engineer, in partnership with ODOT, will be rehabilitating the bridge located on Road M, between Roads 10-L and 11. This work will include replacement of the bridge deck; re-grading the roadway approach on both sides of the bridge; and additional guardrail.

Vehicle through traffic will be detoured while this bridge work is in progress. The detour routes will take eastbound traffic south on Road 11-J, then east on Road O, to SR 65, and westbound traffic will take SR 65 south to Road O, travel west on Road O, and take 11-J north to meet back up with Road M. Construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2023, and is estimated to take approximately seven (7) weeks to complete.

Work at this location will occur in the regulated floodplain of Cranberry Creek. Impacts to this floodplain are anticipated to be minor and result in no rise in local flood levels. A statement of findings detailing the results of the final floodplain analysis is available on the Putnam County Engineer’s website at: https://putnamcountyohio.gov/engineer/.
