COLUMBUS GROVE — It was all about “The Water” as junior high students from the Catholic parishes in Putnam County gathered in Columbus Grove on Sunday afternoon.

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church served as the host for the annual junior high gathering. Attending were 74 junior high students and 40 adult and high school leaders.

St. Anthony’s youth leader, Hannah Warren, said she along with a committee have been preparing for this event since last November.

Baptism, reconciliation, and prayer were among the topics explored with games and other activities. All themes were centered around the water theme.

The day ended with a culture project and Mass.
