CONTINENTAL — Columbus Grove dominated two of the three sets played Tuesday as the Bulldogs claimed a 15-9, 25-19, 25-8 Putnam County League win.
Abigail Gladwell paced the Bulldogs (1-1 PCL), with three aces on 12-of-13 serving with nine points and Becca Choi had an ace on 19-of-20 serving with 15 points and six kills on 14-of-16 hitting. Choi had a block and handed out 20 assists.
Alayna Ricker had wight kills on 29-of-31 hitting and Cassie Heilman had 10 assists while Emily Ridinger had eight digs and eight kills on 15-of-15 hitting. Angel Schneider had five kills on 11-of-11 hitting with two assists and Sara Dipnarine had four kills on 14-of-16 hitting. Lauren Benroth had 10 assist for the Bulldogs.
Columbus Grove won the junior varsity contest in two sets.

Bath 1

BATH TWP. — Pandora-Gilboa picked up their first win of the season Tuesday with a 3-1 win over Bath.

Alexis McCoy served up seven aces for the Rockets as she was 19-of-20 serving along with 11 assists on 84-of-86 setting and Lille Nofziger had five aces on 22-of-23 serving along with 18 assists on 63-of-65 setting.

Lacie Fenstermaker served up two aces on 14-of-17 serving, had 12 kills on 43-of-48 hitting with five blocks and 14 digs. Makayla Kinsinger jad eight kills on 25-of-29 hitting with eight blocks and Taelor Miller had five kills on 27-of-34 hitting with seven blocks. Madison Hovest came up with 19 digs and Mikayla Simons had 15 digs. Erin Shartell had five blocks and Alexis Augsburger had 11 digs.

OTTOVILLE — Ottoville won the opening set Tuesday night before Van Wert won the next three games for a 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-20 non-league win.

Rachel Kemper had two aces and 19 digs for the Big Green, while Tara Heitmeyer had eight kills and seven blocks and Taylor Beining six blocks and five kills. Kylee Hoersten handed out 29 assists and Elise Kramer had 11 digs.

Van Wert won the junior varsity match 25-15, 23-25, 25-18.
