HARROD — A pair of Putnam County youth golfers claimed wins in their age groups Tuesday at the Reineke Ford Open at the Colonial Golfers Club course.

Brevin Brandt, Leipsic, won the boys 12-13 age group as he shot a 40 while Keaton Foster was second with a 46.

Connor Nartker, Kalida, and Judy Parker shared the top spot in the Boys 14-15 age group with 84s. Nartker shot a 46 on the front nine before shooting a 38 on the back nine for his score. Judy had a 44 on the front side before finishing with a 40 on his second nine. Collin Feathers had the second best score with a 90.

Zach Miller won the boys 16-18 age group with an even par round of 72 to win the event by one stroke over Carson Muhlenkamp, who finished with a 73. Muhlenkamp shot a 37 on the front nine while Miller went out with a 36 on the front side. They both had a 36 on the back nine.

Ryan Klausing finished tied for sixth place with a 79, while Carter Schimmoeller was eighth with an 81 and Parker Schomaeker tied for ninth with an 82.

Ellen Naumann won the girls 16-18 age group with a 73 as Kayla Watkins was second with an 82. Kayla Nartker was fourth with an 87.

Jordan Hemmelgarn won the girls 15 and under age group with a 45.

Golfers are back in action today (Thursday) at the Sycamore Springs Golf Course outside of Arlington. This is a new course on the LJGA schedule this summer.
