LIBERTY TWP. - Kalida scored in the closing seconds Saturday afternoon to stun Liberty-Benton 38-37 in non-league action.
The Eagles trailed 26-32 late before scoring five points to take a 37-36 lead with five seconds left. After a Kalida timeout, the Ladycats threw a long pass that landed in the hands of Grace Klausing. Klausing turned and threw in a shot to give Kalida the win.
Kalida had a 16-9 halftime lead on the Eagles before Liberty-Benton started to cut into their deficit in the third quarter with a 13-11 scoring advantage. The Eagles outscored Kalida 15-11 in the fourth quarter that forced the Ladycats to rally late.
Klausing paced Kalida with 13 points and seven rebounds and Kathryn Siebeneck had nine points. Camille Hovest scored seven points with 10 rebounds.
Lauren Gerken had 15 points and seven rebounds for Liberty-Benton. Riley Irwin finished with 11 points.
Columbus Grove 59

LEIPSIC - Columbus Grove grabbed an early lead Saturday afternoon on their way to a 59-43 Putnam County League win over Leipsic.
The Bulldogs had a 22-14 lead after eight minutes and were up 29-23 at halftime after the Vikings outscored them 9-7 in the second quarter.
Columbus Grove regained the momentum in the third quarter with a 20-11 scoring advantage. The Bulldogs finished the game with a 10-9 scoring margin.
Erin Downing paced the Bulldogs(3-1, 7-6) with 15 points and nine rebounds. Sage Clement added 12 points, while Kenzie King had eight points, eight points and nine rebounds.
Marisa Hermiller led the Vikings (2-2, 7-4) with 12 points and Liz Scheckelhoff had 10 points with 11 rebounds.

Pandora-Gilboa 34
FORT JENNINGS - Fort Jennings used a strong third quarter Saturday afternoon to claim a 47-34 Putnam County League win over Pandora-Gilboa.
The Musketeers trailed 21-18 at halftime after the Rockets outscored them 15-7 in the second quarter.
Fort Jennings overcame that deficit in the third quarter with a 17-5 scoring advantage for a 35-26 lead. The Musketeers finished the game with a 12-8 fourth quarter scoring margin.
Jessie Foust led the Musketeers to the win with 18 points as she had three three-pointers. Reilly Fitzpatrick added 11 points.
Lexie Neuenschwander had nine points for the Rockets.

Arlington 36
ARLINGTON - Miller City jumped out to a quick lead Saturday in handing Arlington a 53-36 non-league setback.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 12-3 lead after the opening quarter and were up 31-14 at halftime after a 19-11 second quarter scoring run.
Abi Lammers recorded a double-double for the Wildcats (8-3) with 17 points and 13 rebounds along with four assists. Grace Pfau added 16 points, with four three-pointers, and Natalie Koenig had 12 points with four assists.
Cloe Crist had 10 points to lead Arlington and Adriana Agapiou had seven points with five rebounds.
Minster 54
Ottoville 29
OTTOVILLE- Minster held Ottoville's offense in check Saturday afternoon in claiming a 54-29 non-league win.
The Wildcats never allowed the Big Green more than eight points in a quarter in posting the win.
Minster had an 11-6 lead after the opening quarter and were up 26-14 at halftime. The Wildcats outscored Ottoville 15-7 in the third quarter for a 41-21 lead going to the final quarter.
Ivy Wolf led three Wildcats in double digits with 17 points and E. Mescher added 14 points. J. Hoying finished with 11 points.
Nicole Knippen had 17 points to lead the Big Green.
