HARROD — Kalida's golf team finished second Tuesday at the 13th annual Allen East Invitational at the Colonial Golfers Club.

The Wildcats finished second in the 16 team tournament with a 332, one shot in front of third place Liberty-Benton at 333. Elida won the event shooting a 320 team score.

Columbus Grove finished 12th in the field with a 392 and Miller City was 15th with a 436.

Josh Recker led the Wildcats charge Tuesday with an 81, while Ryan Klausing and Alec Edelbrock both had an 82. David Peck posted an 87 for the Wildcats top four scores.

Owen Macke led the Bulldogs with a 92 and Noah Macke had a 93. Zac Roberts finished with a 101, while Austin Macke and Nick Wolverton both had a 106.

TJ Michel paced Miller City with a 95. Dillon Peck had a 106, Isabelle Vance a 116 and Connor Niese had a 119.

Ethan Harmon and Gavin Harmon helped Elida to the win as both golfers shot a 77. Ethan Harmon was the medalist in a scorecard playoff. Carson Harmon shot a 78 for Elida and Riley Creps had an 88.
