PAULDING — Kalida picked up their first invitational win of the season Thursday by winning the Paulding Invitational at the Auglaize Country Club.

The Wildcats claimed the win shooting a 316 team score as Antwerp was second with a 335 and Bryan was third at 340 in the 17 team field.

Josh Recker led the Wildcats with a 73, which was the third best score of the day. Ryan Klausing finished fifth in the individual standings with a 77. David Peck added an 81 and Grace Miller had an 85.

Case Hartman, Bryan, was the medalist with a 70 and Dylan VonDeylen had a 72 for second place.

Leipsic 190, Ottoville 194

Miller City 209, Fort Jennings 225

DELPHOS - Leipsic opened the 2019 season by winning a Putnam County League quad match at the Delphos Country Club.

The Vikings won the match shooting a 190 in their first competition of the season. The Big Green were close behind at 194 followed by the Wildcats with a 209 and the Musketeers had a 225.

Mason Brandt, Leipsic, and Carter Schnipke, Ottoville, shared medalist honors with a 43.

TJ Michel led Miller City with a 45 and Gavin Schimmoeller had a 52 for the Musketeers.

Bluffton 178, Columbus Grove 193

Ada 199, Crestview 232

BLUFFTON - Columbus Grove finished second in a four team Northwest Conference match at the Bluffton Golf Club.

The Bulldogs finished second to the host Pirates shooting a 193 as Bluffton won with a 178. Ada was third with a 199 and Crestview had a 232.

Drew Wilson, Bluffton, and Zach Roberts, Columbus Grove, shared medalist honors with a 42.

Owen Macke finished with a 47, while Noah Macke and Austin Macke both had 52s.

Pandora-Gilboa 198

Lima Senior 253

BLUFFTON - Pandora-Gilboa picked up their second win of the season Thursday as they defeated Lima Senior 198-232 at the Bluffton Golf Club.

Alex Ricker led the Rockets (2-0) with a 45 for medalist honors. Trey Hovest followed with a 47, Eli Huffman had a 48 and Sam Norton a 58.

Zach Zubel had a 59 for the Spartans in their season opener.
