OTTAWA - Kalida posted two scores in the 70s Wednesday on their way to winning the Wildcat Golf Invitational at Country Acres.

The Wildcats claimed the championship of their own invitational with a 326. Tinora finished second in the 18 team field with a 335 and Bryan was third with a 342. Ottawa-Glandorf finished with a 344 team score, while Ottoville had a 364 and Fort Jennings a 462.

Christian Nartker paced Kalida with a 75 for the second best round of the day and Josh Recker finished with a 78. David Peck had an 86 and Alec Edelbrock had an 87.

Drew VonDeylen and Collin Derrow paced Tinora with 77s to help them finish in second place.

Bryan's Connor Shirk captured medalist honors for the invitational with a 74.

Austin Radcliff led the Titans with an 82 and Carter Schimmoeller was close behind with an 83. Dylan Kemper paced the Big Green with an 86 and Evan Turnwald had a 92. Logan Schimmoeller had a 109 to lead the Musketeers.

DEFIANCE - Miller City's Stevan Stechschulte captured medalist honors Wednesday as the Wildcats defeated Holgate 179-228 at the Auglaize Country Club.

Stechschulte led the Wildcats with a 42. Luke Lammers finished with a 44, Boyd Vance III a 45 and T. J. Michel had a 48.

Josh Tobias led Holgate with a 43. Joey Kelly added a 51, Chase Simons a 63 and Jordan Bok a 71.
