BATH TWP. - Columbus Grove got off to a good start Saturday afternoon as they defeated Bath 38-35 in non-league action.

The Bulldogs had an 11-1 lead after the opening quarter before Bath spent the next three quarters trying to overcome the deficit. The Wildkittens outscored the Bulldogs by three points in the second quarter, one in the third quarter and three points in the fourth quarter.

Kenzie King led the Bulldogs (2-0) with 18 points and Angel Schneider had 10 points. Rylee Sybert had six points and four assists.

Ottoville 48

Lincolnview 32

OTTOVILLE - Ottoville used a solid second quarter to help themselves to a 48-34 non-league win over Lincolnview Saturday.

The Big Green had a 15-11 lead after one quarter before outscoring the Lancers 17-9 in the second quarter for a 32-20 halftime lead. Ottoville outscored the Lancers 16-14 in the second half.

Nicole Knippen led the Big Green (4-0) with 17 points and Brynlee Hanneman added 11 points.

Adoa Welch had nine points to lead the Lancers and Lakin Brant had eight points.

Miller City 48

Holgate 41

MILLER CITY - Miller City overcame a halftime deficit Saturday afternoon to defeat Holgate 48-41 in non-league action.

Holgate had a 26-24 halftime lead after outscoring the Wildcats 19-8 in the second quarter. Miller City overcame the two point deficit with a 12-6 third quarter scoring advantage, then finished off the game with a 12-9 fourth quarter scoring advanatge.

Natalie Koenig led the Wildcats (1-1) with 20 points, while Adrienne Kuhlman and Kylie Berner both had 10 points. Abi Lammers finished with eight points, 11 rebounds and six steals.

Bluffton 61

Fort Jennings 44

BLUFFTON - Bluffton used a big second half Saturday afternoon to defeat Fort Jennings 61-44 in non-league action.

The Pirates had an 11-5 lead after the first quarter before outscoring the Musketeers 19-10 in the second quarter for a 30-15 halftime lead. Ft. Jennings outscored Bluffton 22-18 in the third quarter before the Pirates regrouped to outscore the Musketeers 13-7 in the fourth quarter.

Alivia Koenig led the Pirates with 18 points, while Katie Prater and Avery Rumer both had 11 points.

Kristen Luersman had 18 points to lead the Musketeers and Madison Neidert finished with nine points.

Minster 59

Kalida 29

MINSTER - Minster grabbed an early lead and outscored Kalida in every quarter on their way to a 59-29 non-league win.

Minster took a 15-8 lead after the opening quarter and were up 34-14 at halftime on Kalida.

Janae Hoying had 16 points for Minster and Ivy Wolf added 15 points. Damirus Wolf finished with 11 points.

Lauren Langhals led Kalida with eight points and Abby Wurth had five points and grabbed seven rebounds. Grace Klausing also had seven rebounds and three assists.
