ELIDA — Ottawa-Glandorf's softball team picked up their first win of the season Friday as they topped Elida 14-4 in Western Buckeye League action.

The Titans led throughout as they scored three times in the first inning. Elida made it a 3-2 game in the third inning before O-G scored a run in the fourth inning, scored three times in the fifth and added seven runs in the seventh inning. The Bulldogs scored twice in the bottom of the seventh for the final score.

Katelyn Yoder (1-2) picked up the win as she allowed four runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts and four walks.

Erica Annesser had a pair of singles, a double and two RBIs for O-G (1-1, 1-2). Taylor Kuhlman had two doubles and an RBI and Haley Karhoff had a single, double and drove in two runs. Kenzie Cupp had a single, triple and RBI for the Titans.

Lincolnview 16.

Continental 1

CONTINENTAL — Lincolnview scored in every innings as they defeated Continental 16-1 in non-league action.

The Lancers opened the scoring with seven runs in the top of the first inning and they continued to add to that lead. Continental scored their lone run in the bottom of the first.

Tygre Troyer took the loss for the Pirates. Mackenzie Rayle, Jessica Stauffer and Kennedy Hiltner all had two hits for the Pirates.

Crestview 16

Kalida 5

KALIDA — Crestview scored all of their runs in two innings as they defeated Kalida 16-5 in non-league action Friday.

The Knights scored seven times in the first inning and added nine runs in the fifth inning. The Ladycats scored run in the bottom of the first and scored four more times in the fourth.

Aleigh Chesbro picked up the win for the Knights as she allowed four runs on none hits with five strikeouts.

Hannah Binnon had two singles, a double and an RBI for Crestview and Lexi Gregory had a single, triple and an RBI. Codi Miller had a single, double and RBI.

Molly Westrick took the loss for Kalida as she allowed 16 runs, four earned, on 11 hits.

Mya Schmitz went 3 for 3 for Kalida with two RBIs and Emily Buss was 2 for 2 with an RBI. Melanie Meyers had a double for Kalida.
