OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf scored 18 points off Kalida turnovers Saturday on their way to a 43-30 non-league win at the Robert J. Hermiller Gymnasium.

O-G moves to 3-0 on the young season, while the Ladycats dropped to 1-2.

The two teams combined to turn the ball over 52 times Saturday afternoon with Kalida committing 32 turnovers and the Titans 20. The Titans were able to take advantage of several Kalida turnovers scoing 18 points, while the Ladycats didn't score a point after coming up with an Titan miscue.

Despite the number of mistakes in the contest, the game came down to the final quarter as O-G took a 26-22 lead to the final eight minutes. In the final quarter the Titans outscored Kalida 17-12 for the win.

Kadie Hempfling had a double-double for the Titans with 15 points and 11 rebounds along with four steals. Bri Schimmoeller added nine points and Erin Kaufman finished with seven points and three steals.

Sarah Klausing had nine points and five rebounds for Kalida. Taylor Lucke and Kara Siefker both had nine points in the win.

O-G won the junior varsity game 43-30.

Bath 46

Columbus Grove 44

COLUMBUS GROVE — Bath rallied from a first half deficit Saturday afternoon to defeat Columbus Grove 46-44 in non-league action.

The Lady Bulldogs had a 29-24 halftime lead before the Wildkittens outscored them 22-15 in the second half for the win. Bath started their comeback with a 14-8 third quarter scoring advantage before closing out the game with a 8-7 scoring advantage.

Javoyan Hale hit four three-pointers to lead  Bath with 14 points.

Carlee McCluer returned from missing the Bulldogs (0-2) season opener to score 20 points as she had four three-pointers. Rylee Sybert knocked down a pair of three's as she had 11 points and Teyah Sautter had six points and five rebounds.

Bath won the junior varsity game 36-34.

Bluffton 55

Fort Jennings 33

FORT JENNINGS — The first and third quarters were key as Bluffton rolled to a 55-33 non-league win over Fort Jennings Saturday afternoon.

The Pirates had an 18-8 lead after the opening quarter and were up 25-17 at halftime. Bluffton put the game away with a 17-6 run in the third quarter.

Alivia Koenig had 18 points to lead the Pirates and Katie Prater had 13 points.

Kristen Luersman had nine points for the Musketeers (0-3).
