OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf and Lima Bath were locked in a tight struggle down the stretch of their Western Buckeye League game Thursday night.

A clutch three-pointer, defense and free throws gave the Titans the separation they needed in a 44-36 win over the Wildkittens at the Robert J. Hermiller Gymnasium. The Titans moved to 4-0 in the league and 10-1 overall, while Bath is 3-1 in the league and 13-2 overall.

Ottawa-Glandorf had a 30-24 lead after three quarters after they outscored the Wildkittens 15-1 in the quarter. Bath was able to break O-G's momentum as they rallied to tie the contest at 30-30 on an Alexandria Renner free throw. The Titans regained the lead on baskets by Brianna Schimmoeller and Chloe Glenn.

The Titans had a 36-33 lead after a Kelsey Erford basket before bath's Abbie Dackin tied the game with 1:50 left with a three-pointer. Anna Siefker answered back for O-G seconds later when she hit a three out of the left corner.  The Titans sealed the game at the free throw line as they hit 5-of-7 chances while Bath turned the ball over on three straight possessions.

Erford paced the Titans with 13 points, six rebounds and four steals and Schimmoeller had 12 points. Erin Kaufman finished with nine rebounds and 12 points. Maggie Verhoff and Glenn both had four steals for the Titans as Bath turned the ball over 21 times in the game.

Ja'Dasia Hardison had 11 points for Bath and MAdelyn Renner grabbed seven rebounds.

Bath won the junior varsity game 43-22.

Columbus Grove 52

Lincolnview 24

MIDDLE POINT — Columbus Grove held Lincolnview to 10 first half points on their way to a 52-24 Northwest Conference win.

The Bulldogs had an 11-5 lead after the opening quarter and were up 25-10 at halftime.

Angel Schneider paced the Bulldogs with 16 points and Kenzie King hit three three-pointers as she had 13 points.

Columbus Grove won the junior varsity game 51-29,

Ottoville 47

Continental 45

CONTINENTAL — Ottoville used a strong third quarter Thursday evening to rally for a 47-45 Putnam County League win over Continental.

The Pirates had a 28-21 halftime lead after outscoring the Big Green 14-8 in the second quarter. Ottoville turned the game around with a 19-7 third quarter scoring margin.

Continental outscored the Big Green 10-7 in the fourth quarter as they fell two points shy of forcing overtime.

Nicole Knippen paced Ottoville with a game high 24 points and Kylee Hoersten added 12 points.

Kerri Prowant led the Pirates with 14 points and Alex Hoeffel finished with 13 points.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Leipsic used a first half scoring advantage Thursday on their way to a 36-27 Blanchard Valley Conference win.

The Vikings had a 7-6 lead after the opening quarter and were up 21-12 at halftime. Both teams played even in the second half.

Liz Scheckelhoff paced the Vikings with 13 points and Marissa Hermiller added 10 points.

Pandora-Gilboa 24

PANDORA — Arlington held Pandora-Gilboa to two first quarter points Thursday on their way to a 67-24 Blanchard Valley Conference win.

The Red Devils had a 17-2 lead after the opening quarter and never looked back.

Taelor Miller had seven points and six rebounds to lead the Rockets.
