VANLUE — Leipsic used a pair of big innings to roll to a 20-3, five inning, Blanchard Valley Conference win over Vanlue Friday.

The Vikings opened the game scoring 11 times in the first inning, then came back with six runs in the second inning for an early 17-0 lead.

Summer Steingass picked up the win for Leipsic as she went the distance allowing three runs on three hits with a strikeout and two walks.

Heather Lammers had a single, home run and drove in four runs for the Vikings and Steingass had a double and three RBIs. Bailee Sickmiller had a single, triple and two RBIs and Jala Hazelton had a single and two RBIs.

Amyiah Brenneman took the loss as she worked two innings allowing 17 runs on 10 hits with eight walks and a strikeout. Amanda Clymer finished the game.

Emma Franks had a triple and drove in three runs for the Wildcats and Clymer had a double.

Patrick Henry 14

Miller City 3

HAMLER — Patrick Henry scored at least two runs in every inning Friday on their way to a 14-3 non-league win over Miller City.

The Patriots scored three runs in each of the first and second innings before scoring four times in the third inning. They added two runs in the fourth and fifth innings. Miller City scored a run in the first inning and two times in the fifth.

Becca Jones picked up the win for Patrick Henry (7-2) as she went three innings allowing a run on four hits with three strikeouts and a walk.

Leah Johns had a single, two doubles and drove in two runs and Erin Diem had three singles and two RBIs.

Kylie Berner took the loss for the Wildcats (0-5) as she went 2 1/3 innings allowing 10 runs, six earned, on seven hits with two walks.

Makenna Lehman had three singles and an RBI and Abbey Schroeder had two singles and two RBIs.

Ottawa-Glandorf 0

BATH TWP. — Bath pitching allowed Ottawa-Glandorf just one hit in recording a 10-0 Western Buckeye League Friday night.

Morgan Mosley threw the one-hitter for the Wildkittens in five innings of work. She had three strikeouts in recording the win.

Katelyn Yoder had the Titans lone hit, a single.

Yoder took the loss for O-G (0-4, 2-4) as she allowed 10 runs, three earned, in 4 2/3 innings of work. She had five strikeouts in the game.

Abby Dackin and Chandler Clark both had two hits and an RBI for Bath. A. Heminger had a hit and RBI for Bath.
