OTTAWA — Miller City posted the low team score during a Putnam County League quad match at Pike Run on Thursday.

The Wildcats won the four team match by shooting a 183. Ottoville finished second with a 190 followed by Leipsic at 206 and Fort Jennings had a 215.

Luke Lammers grabbed medalist honors for the Wildcats (4-0) with a 41. Stevan Stechschulte followed with a 45, Boyd Vance III a 47 and TJ Michel had a 50.

Carter Schnipke paced the Big Green (4-3) with a 45, while Evan Turnwald had a 46 and Dylan Kemper a 48. Ethan Geise and Zach Knippen both had a 51.

Brock Lammers paced the Vikings (1-2) with a 48 and Jaden Siefker had a 49. Mason Tadena finished with a 53 and Eli Wueller had a 56.

Simon Smith led the Musketeers (1-3) with a 48. Gavin Schimmoeller finished with a 53, while Logan Schimmoeller and Lexie Stant both had a 57.

Paulding Invitational

DEFIANCE — Kalida continued its solid week on area golf courses with a second place finish at the Paulding Invitational Thursday at the Auglaize Country Club.

The Wildcats finished second in the 18 team field with a 323 team score. The Wildcats have had two second place finishes this week, a first place and one third place showing.

Archbold won the invitational with a 317 score and Paulding was third with a 327.

Christian Nartker led the Wildcats with a 73 and Josh Recker had a 77. Ryan Klausing finished with an 85 and Alec Edelbrock had an 88 to round out the four scores for Kalida.

Mitch Grosjean led the Blue Streaks with a 76 and AJ Mahnke had a 78. Kade Kern finished with an 80 and Kreighton Sims an 83.

Connor Shirkey, Bryan, was the medalist with a 70. Nartker and KAden McGraw, Patrick Henry, tied for second with 73s.
