LIMA — Ottawa-Glandorf's doubles team of Mariah Schroeder and Addy Schmiedebusch finished fourth Saturday at the Division II sectional tournament at the University of Northwest Ohio Courts.

The placement sends the Titan duo to the Division II district tournament this Thursday at Bowling Green State University.

Schroeder and Schmiedebusch qualified for the district tournament on Thursday with a pair of wins in the opening rounds. Their big win was a 6-2, 6-2 victory over the third seeded team of Kara Danaher and Lydia Dabis from St. Marys. The unseeded Titan team had opened the tournament with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Alexia McNett and Yoselin Ruiz of Defiance.

On Saturday morning, Schroeder and Schmiedebusch fell to the top seeded team of Esther Bolon and Ruby Bolon, Bath, 6-2, 6-0 dropping them into the third place match against Van Wert's Paige Moonshower and Olivia Kline. The Van Wert pair, the fourth seed at doubles, won the match 6-0, 6-2.
