VAN WERT — After a tough five set loss to Division I Toledo St. Ursula Tuesday, the Ottawa-Glandorf volleyball team was back in action Thursday evening.

The Lady Titans were on the road to face fellow Western Buckeye League unbeaten Van Wert in the Cougars Den. The Titans shook off that Tuesday loss to dominate the Cougars 25-17, 25-19, 25-14.

O-G moves to 3-0 in the WBL and 10-1 overall.

Maddie White served up three aces for O-G along with wight kills and five blocks and Bri Schimmoeller had three aces and 14 assists. Erica Annesser recorded 13 kills, Kendra Ellerbrock had 16 assists and Claire Eiden 21 digs.

O-G won the junior varsity match 25-11, 25-18 and the freshman team won in two games.

Pandora-Gilboa 3

Continental 2

CONTINENTAL - Pandora-Gilboa outlasted Continental in the fifth set Thursday evening to claim a 25-16, 25-16, 23-25, 23-25, 15-11 Putnam County League win.

Jessica Stauffer led the Pirates with 30 assists, an ace, two kills and 18 digs and Kennedy Hiltner had three aces, eight kills and 24 digs. Brooke Bradford had 14 kills, an ace and 22 digs and Breanne Eickholt had 11 kills, two blocks and an ace.

Continental won the junior varsity contest in two sets.

LEIPSIC - Haley Heitmeyer had a big night Thursday to lead Leipsic past Patrick Henry in non-league action 25-7, 25-17 nd 25-12.

Heitmeyer pounded 21 kills on 31-of-33 hitting and had four aces on 10-of-11 serving. Kacey Dulle had three aces on 15-of-16 serving and Brooke Brown had three aces on 12-of-12 serving with 12 digs and Carlee Siefker had two aces, eight kills and 11 digs. Selena Loredo and Lyndie Hazelton both had 17 assists.

Leipsic won the junior varsity contest 25-15, 25-13 and the freshman match 25-18, 25-16.

Ottoville 2

HAVILAND - Wayne Trace won the final two sets Thursday night to defeat Ottoville 25-23, 18-25, 11-25, 25-17 and 16-14 in non-league action.

Brynlee Hanneman had 17 kills, nine blocks and 21 digs for the Big Green and Quinley Schlagbaum had 12 kills, four blocks and 30 digs. Kylee Hoersten had 30 assists and 15 digs, Madison Averesch had 22 digs and Taylor Beining had eight kills and five blocks.

Wayne Trace won the junior varsity match 25-20, 25-22.

Paulding 3

Columbus Grove 1

PAULDING - Paulding defeated Columbus Grove in Northwest Conference action Thursday 25-17, 20-25, 25-20 and 25-21.

No Columbus Grove stats were available.

The Bulldogs won the junior varsity contest.
