OTTAWA — Sidney used a pair of three run innings Thursday evening to defeat Ottawa 6-5 in a nine inning game at Memorial Park.

Post 63 (0-6) took a 3-0 lead with three runs in the first inning. Sidney tied the game with three runs in the fifth inning and took the lead with three runs in the sixth. Ottawa scored twice in the bottom of the sixth and neither team scored again.

Brady Hauenstein took the loss for Post 63 a he worked 1 1/3 innings allowing three runs on three hits. Post 63 used five different pitchers in the game.

Zane Martin had two singles and an RBI for Post 63 and TJ Whipple had two singles. Logan Miller added a single and an RBI to the Ottawa total.
