COLUMBUS GROVE - Columbus Grove had a good start on both ends of the floor on their way to a 52-30 Putnam County League win over Leipsic Saturday afternoon.

The win moves the Bulldogs to 4-0 in the PCL and 11-2 overall, while Leipsic drops to 2-2 in the league and 7-6 overall.

The Bulldogs got off to a good start outscoring the Vikings 17-6 in the opening quarter. Columbus Grove hit four three-pointers in the opening quarter and had a three point play, while limiting the Leipsic offense to three field goals.

Columbus Grove outscored the Vikings 17-10 in the second quarter for a 34-16 halftime lead.

Kenzie King led the Bulldogs with 17 points as she hit five three-pointers. King grabbed six rebounds and had four steals in the win. Angel Schneider added 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Erin Downing had 11 points, seven rebounds and four steals.

Whitney Langhals had nine points for Leipsic and Liz Scheckelhoff had eight points.

Columbus Grove won the junior varsity game 30-18.

MILLER CITY - Miller City built a first half lead on their way to a 49-42 non-league win over Arlington.

The Wildcats were up 11-6 after one quarter and 24-13 at halftime. The Red Devils outscored Miller City 29-25 in the second half for the win.

Natalie Koenig paced the Wildcats (11-1) with 20 points, while Abi Lammers had 19 points, 19 rebounds, five steals and two assists.

Miller City won the junior varsity game 21-9.

Ottawa-Glandorf 54

Fort Recovery 41

OTTAWA - Ottawa-Glandorf grabbed a quick lead on their way to a 54-41 win over tenth ranked Fort Recovery in non-league action Saturday.

The Titans had a 16-9 lead after the opening quarter and were up 29-22 at halftime. O-G added a point to their lead in the third and fourth quarters.

Chloee Glenn and Brianna Schimmoeller paced the Titans (11-1) with 12 points each. Erin Kaufman added 11 points and Kelsey Erford had 10 points.

Ottawa-Glandorf won the junior varsity game 40-31.

PANDORA - Fort Jennings used a big first half Saturday afternoon to record a 58-33 Putnam County League win over Pandora-Gilboa.

The Musketeers had an 18-7 lead after the opening quarter and were up 37-15 at halftime.

Kristen Luersman had a big day for the Musketeers (1-13) with 29 points and 13 rebounds. Jessica Foust and Chloe WIeging both had 10 points for Ft. Jennings.
