HARROD — Three Allen East pitchers combined for a two hit shutout Tuesday as the Mustangs downed Pandora-Gilboa 10-0 in a six inning Division IV sectional semi-final contest.

The win sends the Mustangs to a Thursday sectional final showdown with Miller City at 5 p.m.

Jordan Motter, Evan Shafer and Bradden Crumrine combined on the two hitter. Motter went three innings for the win not allowing a hit with six strikeouts, while Shafer worked two innings allowing two hits with two strikeouts. Crumrine pitched a scoreless inning striking out one. The three pitchers did not walk a P-G batter in the game.

Allen East grabbed a quick lead scoring six times in the bottom of the first inning.

After the Rockets were retired in order in the top of the first, Allen East sent 11 batters to the plate in the bottom of the inning to score six times.

The Mustangs scored just two batters into the game as Crumrine walked, stole second and third base before scoring on a Blake Hershberger single. Hershberger stole second base and moved to third on a ground out before a Dalton Clum double made it a 2-0 game.

After a ground out moved Clum to third, a Carter Frey single made it 3-0 before Chase Miller reached on an error and Nathan Ketchum walked to load the bases. A flyball to left field was mis played allowing three runs to score to make it a 6-0 game. After a walk to Crumrine, a ground out ended the Allen East first.

The Mustangs added single runs to their score in the second and fourth innings before ending the game with two runs in the sixth.

Clum had a pair of doubles for the Mustangs and Miller a triple. Miller finished with three hits in the game and Frey two hits and an RBI.

Alex Ricker took the loss for the Rockets as he lasted justtwo-thirds of an inning. Ryan Johnson, Brennen Morman and Andrew Meyer all worked in the game.

Johnson and Tommy Hovest had the P-G hits.
