MILLER CITY - For the second straight season, Pandora-Gilboa and Miller City came down to the final plays.

The Rockets scored the final points of the game and the Wildcats were unable to answer in a 44-42 Putnam County League win Saturday night.

P-G scored the final four points of the game as Cooper McCullough sank two free throws to tie the game and Eli Phillips came up with a steal and basket for the winning points. The Wildcats had a chance to tie the game playing for the last shot, but they were unable to get a shot to fall.

McCullough led the Rockets with 13 points and Mark Kuhlman had 17 points for Miller City.

Fort Jennings 71

Columbus Grove 61

FORT JENNINGS - Fort Jennings overcame an early deficit Saturday evening to defeat Columbus Grove 71-61 in Putnam County League action.

Both teams came out firing as the Bulldogs had a 25-20 lead after the opening quarter. The Musketeers took over in the second quarter outscoring Grove 18-10 in the second quarter for a 38-35 halftime lead. Ft. Jennings used a 13-8 third quarter scoring margin for a 51-44 lead after three quarters.

Cole Horstman led the Musketeers with 20 points and Ian Finn added 15 points. Brandon Wehri chipped in 14 points.

Tayt Birnesser had 20 points for the Bulldogs and Blake Reynolds added 19 points.

Ottoville 67

Minster 50

MINSTER - Ottoville used a strong third quarter Saturday night to defeat Minster 67-50 in non-league action.

The Big Green had a 27-23 halftime lead before outscoring the Wildcats 23-9 in the third quarter to take control of the game.

Logan Kemper paced the Big Green with 32 points as he hit 7-of-9 three-point shots in the game. Kemper also grabbed eight rebounds on the night. Nick Moorman dropped in 10 points and Josh Thorbahn had eight points.

Ottawa-Glandorf 73

Bluffton 45

BLUFFTON - Ottawa-Glandorf jumped out to a quick lead Saturday night in defeating Bluffton 73-45 in non-league action.

The Titans jumped out to an 18-9 first quarter lead and were up 38=19 at halftime. O-G pushed their lead to 56-35 after three quarters.

Jay Kaufman led four O-G players in double digits with 17 points. Carter Heringhaus added 14 points, Owen Hiegel had 13 and Bryce Schroeder tossed in 12 points.

Mason Sopher and Kaleb Jefferson both had 15 points for the Pirates.
