BATH TWP. - Ottawa-Glandorf used a strong pitching performance by Jacob Balbaugh Wednesday to defeat Bath 5-1 in a Division III sectional tournament game.

The win advances the Titans (10-11) to a sectional final game Friday against Paulding at Paulding at 5 p.m. Bath drops out of the tournament at 7-17.

Balbaugh (4-4) picked up the win as he allowed a run on five hits with three strikeouts. The only run Bath scored came in the bottom of the seventh with two outs.

Ottawa-Glandorf took the lead with two runs in the second inning, then added two runs in the sixth inning on a two out single by freshman Nate Maag. The Titans added a run in the seventh inning.

Grant Hovest had a triple for the Titans and Ethan Alt had a double and single. Logan Miller and Cory Warnecke both had two singles as O-G banged out 10 hits in the game.
