ST. MARYS — Ottawa-Glandorf's defense kept St. Marys out of the endzone in the second overtime Friday night to record a 27-20 Western Buckeye League win.

The Roughriders scored with just over a minute left in regulation to tie the game, both teams scored on their possession in the first overtime.

St. Marys took their first lead of the night when Hinkle scored on an 11 yard run and with the extra point they were up 20-13. The Titans answered back when Jacob Balbaugh threw a one yard scoring pass to Colin White. Alex Macke's extra point tied the game at 20-20.

Ottawa-Glandorf had the ball first in the second overtime and scored as Balbaugh threw his fourth touchdown pass of the night, this time finding Caleb Kuhlman with a four yard scoring pass. Macke's extra point made it 27-20. The Roughriders drove inside the O-G 10 yard line, but on fourth down had a run stuffed by the Titans ending the game.

In a defensive struggle for three quarters, the Titans took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter when Balbaugh found Will Kaufman with a 13 yard scoring pass.

St. Marys tied the game with 11:26 to play in the fourth quarter when Trogdlon ran 14 yards to paydirt. A missed extra point left the score at 6-6. O-G responded by regaining the lead when Ian Fenbert caught a seven yard scoring pass from Balbaugh. The extra point made it 13-7. St. Marys tied the game with 1:23 left when Wedding bulled over from two yards out.

Balbaugh was 24-of-33 passing for O-G for 215 yards as Kuhlman caught eight passes for 73 yards and Kaufman seven passes for 64. White and Brennen Blevins both had four catches.

Fenbert rushed for 63 yards in the game for O-G.

Wedding led the Roughrider offense with 116 yards and Trogdlon rushed for 103 yards.
