LEIPSIC — Leipsic scored two fourth quarter touchdownsFriday night to rally for a 13-10 Blanchard Valley Conference win over Pandora-Gilboa.

In a defensive struggle, the Vikings offense wasn't able to reach the endzone in over 43 minutes of action. Then in the final five minutes Leipsic reached paydirt twice to garner the win.

Dillan scored on a six yard run with 4:43 left that pulled the Vikings within 10-6 as the extra point try was blocked. Then with 35 seconds in the game, Niese scored again, this time on a nine yard run and with the extra point Leipsic had a 13-10 lead.

Pandora-Gilboa also struggled to find the endzone as they scored all of their points in the second quarter.

Bryce Basinger gave the Rockets the lead with 11:18 left in the fist half when he hauled in a four yard scoring pass from Silas Schmenk. Elam Suter put the Rockets up 10-0 with 1:39 left in the first half when he kicked a 22 yard field goal.

Niese led the Vikings ground game with 106 yards and he threw for another 60 yards in the game. Lorenzo Walther rushed for 65 yards for Leipsic.

Schmenk was 16-of-36 passing for 230 yards with a score, but he threw four interceptions. Basinger caught 11 passes for 147 yards in the game. Sam Burkholder rushed for 57 yards in the game.
